The Welcome Reception will be held at Four Winds on Monday 28 November 2016 from 1800 – 2000 and will include beverages and finger food for the evening. The cost of the function is included in the full registration (excluding workshop and day registrations). You can purchase additional tickets via the online registration form at a cost of $50 per person.
The Conference Dinner will be held at Mimosa Wines and Drystone Restaurant, Bermagui on Thursday 1 December 2016 from 1830. Dinner includes beverages and a three course meal. The cost of the function is included in the full registration (excluding workshop and day registrations). You can purchase additional tickets via the online registration form at a cost of $130 per person.
Monday, 28th of November
A 3 hour sailing tour along the pristine Sapphire Coast is available to guests who arrive prior to the conference on the Monday morning, departing at 10am. The Pelican 1 is a 19 metre sailing catamaran usually used in marine research and environmental education throughout Australia and the Pacific. The catamaran hosts a maximum of 15 people and costs approximately $60 per person. Payments are to be made on the day. The cruise is, however, subject to weather conditions. Tuesday, 29th of November
Barefoot lawn bowls is available from 5pm at the Bermagui Country Club on the Tuesday. The cost is $5 per person to be paid directly to reception at the time of the event. Pool is also available at $2 a game. Kitchen closes at 7:30/8pm and drinks are available for purchase from the bar.
Wednesday, 30th of November
Conference guests have the option to hire stand up paddle boards or kayaks to explore the picturesque Bermagui river from 5pm on the Wednesday. Hire costs are approximately $20/hr for paddle boards and $15 (for single) or $20 (for double) kayak hire for 1 ½ hours, to be paid on the day. Lessons for stand up paddle boarding are also available.
Guests are also invited to independently explore the many alternate attractions Bermagui has to offer including sandy beaches, state forests, national parks and mountains; all within close proximity to the main town.
